(no subject)
I got to talk to Chey yesterday as she was opening the treasure chest. She really liked the chest, and when she got to the presents, or the treasure within, she would open a present and I could hear a gasp followed by either "Thank you daddy!" or "I love you daddy!"
All the work on the treasure chest, countless time determining the right presents to fill it with, and her favorite part was the last minute addition of some avon makeups aquired from my mom right before I shipped it out. Go fig ;-)
I did a good job though, the gasps and squeels of delight made it all worth it, I got to make my daughter happy for the first time with the bestowement of gifts.
She whispered something to her mom as she was opening the chest, I couldnt really make it out, but her mothers response in the back ground I could make out perfectly. "Of course you can keep the box, I don't think he worked so long making it for you to not keep it."
