Friday night... (x-posting)
...and nothing to do. So goes my life most of the time anyways. I need a babysitter. So bad I can almost taste it. I LOVE my babies, you all know I do, but you know... I bet Shawn and I wouldn't fight half as much if we got to spend some quality time alone with one another. I mean, it's been ... holy hell... almost 2 years now since the last time we went somewhere alone together... and that was to court ::grimaces::
The last time we actually WENT out and did something was...::think think think::: ... it's been so long I have a hard time remembering! LOL.
I think it was possibly 1999? LMAO. A company christmas party for my husband, AND it was totally LAME.
See, that is why I actually resorted to allowing my husbands Mother to watch my kids at my house this christmas so that I could go to the company christmas party (different company now, so it MIGHT have actually been fun.) That is also why I cried like a baby when she showed up late and we didn't get to go.
The problem is, I am just too picky about who I will allow to watch my kids =/ I use to let my Dad and step-Mom watch them, because my step-mom does most the watching and she spoils them. See that is OK with me, because that is what grandparents are for. They went and moved to Hawaii though! I trust my cousin to watch them, but she is a working mom with an 8 year old and a 10 month old, so I feel a little bad asking her to watch my kids, especially since she won't accept money to do it. I also trust my husbands grandparents...but they are in their late 70's and I feel bad making them do it just because they have a hard time keeping up with them.
So that leaves me with no babysitter =/
=D Happy news though!!! Shawn bought the eye toy for the PS2... now he still needs to actually BUY the PS2 LMAO... but at least it's a start!!
