[the normal lunch time school corridor sounds can be heard. Hippolytus isn't so much weaving in and out of people so much as he is barging his way through them, it sounds like he's trying to escape from something. occasionally you can here and irritated passer-by swear or mutter at him as he knocks into them but he doesn't acknowledge them. he sounds a little annoyed~]
They - the school - sent me to a councillor. A councillor for god-- They asked if I was having "trouble" at home. You'd think they'd never seen a fuck- broken nose before. [with a hint of nervousness~] I, er, forgot myself and told them I wasn't living at home any more. And now they, um, want me to keep going to the councillor. Once a week. Someone get me out of it? She's weird, she asks a lot of questions... and she smells funny.
[more annoyed now~] And people clearly don't know what actual battle scars look like. People keep asking me if I've "been in the wars". [reproachfully~] No, I haven't "been in a war". People are stupid. Really stupid. Really.
[now he really sounds nervous. like the busty blonde does in a slasher film when she realises the killer is closing in~] And Charybdis? Why won't that girl leave me alone? I don't need mothering, thank you. [exasperated~] Nor do I need her to try and sit on my knee at lunch. [pleading~] Please, just keep her away. I thought you were lying about--
[he cuts off. oh, hello psycho-killer. yes, you can probably hear him jump~] Oh, er, hi Marion--
