(no subject)
Okay, so, I'm having an ONTD-fuelled fit of nostalgia (I hate ONTD, I was just REALLY BORED and they had a big post about ZOOM which was my favourite PBS show after Arthur when I was nine okay) and it started me thinking about other shows I loved when I was a child and I just realised that I have NO IDEA what this one was. It was on Teletoon, so I have no idea whether it was American- or Canadian-made, but it was a cartoon set in pre-colonial Africa and was about a dude who had a ~*destiny*~ or whatever (the gods were chatty with him in any case) and a cursed princess who had to spend daytime in the body of an impala and I have no idea if anyone else ever watched this but I LOVED IT. AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS CALLED. SOMEONE NEEDS TO ASSURE ME THAT I DIDN'T MAKE IT UP. ):
(Also, regarding ZOOM: watching old clips is REALLY WEIRD because Jared was THE FIRST BOY I EVER LIKED and now he's just this kid with awful 90s hair. Also he's DEAD. ;____; I want to sit around digging up clips on YouTube and mourning now, but I have to go attempt to make myself look presentable for work instead.)
ETA: OH MAN DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THIS SHOW WITH GNOMES AND FOXES? BECAUSE I DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING MORE THAN "GNOMES AND FOXES" BUT I THINK I LIKED IT.
