Whirr...

Interesting summer break so far. Saturday was Cirque du Soleil, which was pretty good. The second part wasn't as exciting as the first... I think the excitement wore out by then. But the Quidam! Oh man! It inspires me! So does that Boum-boum clown :)

Monday was long, but fun. Brought Michelle to school, had a doctor's appointment, and bought The Devil Wears Brada and The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants. I hope to read all of the Prada book before July 4th somehow, since I'll be seeing that then with Dorothy, Kim, Sarina, and Grace on that day... we think. Tuesday was long too. Brought Michelle to the arcade, got home, Irene came around 6 and we left at 7:30 to get to Sam's. We got to Sam's at around 8:30 and made noises with our guitars until 11:30. That was fun stuff :D Yesterday Michelle and Sarah came over, which was nice. And then today.

Today, I got the Internet working on the big downstairs computer (that Binh fixed :D! all the important files are still here! *is forever grateful*). So that made me happy. But then I did something stupid and the computer (which just got fixed!!) got all infected with malware and crap and it made me sad :( (and very cranky). I only just fixed it about an hour ago, when I did system restore.

I <3 system restore.

So my computer's alive and well again. I'm not gonna dare try downloading the security update service thing from microsoft.com again; the plague started after I tried installing that, which is kinda strange. *sigh*

On another note, I'm definitely volunteering for Bluesfest now, so I'm gonna be busy busy busy this month, especially with summer school and stuff, which starts next Wednesday. I'm volunteering for the Green Teem (yay!), which would probably make Mr. Smith proud. It sounds pretty fun; our job is to "spread the word about the new greening program, such as encouraging people to put plastic and cans (not paper) in the recycling bins which will be placed throughout the park, as well as correct use of the new Cupsuckers that will be mounted on all the garbage bins." Apparently he (the area leader) invented these Cupsucker things... whatever those are. And we have to talk about how the cups at bluesfest this year are decomposable. Yeah. On top of that we're in charge of emptying recycling bins (but not garbage bins! thank goodness). That means we have access to those Gator-car-things :D Fweet. Oh yeah and we get green t-shirts x3

Oh and I did that CHUO fm radio interview yesterday. Oh man my answers were so dumb :P I'd quote if only I remembered/understood my answers.

Ahh I really need to get going on filling up my sketchbook. *sigh*

Seeing Superman Returns on Saturday! I'm excited!
