The Echo Newspaper was founded on the 5th August 1985.
With a circulation that covers the City of Swan and shires of Mundaring and Kalamunda, the Echo reaches a mix of suburban and country areas. This includes both city commerce and agriculture throughout the Swan Valley. Not only do they have the widest circulation in the area, the Echo also has the highest readership.
The preferred delivery method is direct to householder’s letterboxes. They are delivered with military precision by PMP Distribution every Saturday. People have come to expect their weekend read of the Echo, so if for some reason a paper is not delivered to a regular customer, there is a toll-free number in place for readers to contact them. Delivery is audited by Circulations Audit Board (CAB) then validated by Arthur Anderson showing a 97.4% success rate in home deliveries.

They also deliver stacks to shopping centres & community centres throughout the distribrution zones. Service Stations, swimming pools, libraries & cafes have stands displaying the current week's edition.

& there it is! Tallulah, age 4, roaring like the lion she was painted to be at the Kalamunda Kalaborate in '08 Zig Zag Festival.
Normal sized newspaper. A3.
XD
The Zig Zag Arts Committee aren't all that impressed that the paper failed to credit who's photo it was. They've updated
their website already with photos from this year's festival & have put Tallulah up as the first image. Armed only with the full resolution version however, they've attempted to copy my watermark so that it's displayed obviously for all to see. I thought that was really nice of them.
& in case you are wondering.... yes I tone my style down for work.

The eyes on my camera were obtained earlier in the day at the children's activity area. I was waiting on a parent to be free to sign a release form for photographs of their children to be used. The woman running the stall decided that I needed to decorate my camera, so we stuck googly eyes on it.... & one of the children, who turned out to be all of 3 years old decided my camera's name was 'Penny'. Because it's a Pentax, & she could read.
So for the rest of the day when I was working with camera shy children, I was telling them about Penny. Now, lets remember for a small moment that I'm supposedly a Scary Goth, with boots nearly as big as me & corsetry that makes people wince. I'm toned down for the day, in dark grey pinstripe suit, vest & black shirt, but my earrings kind of give me away...
There's me, crouched down on the ground at the eye level of a 2 year old...
"This is Penny. But Penny is sneaky,"
[puts finger to mouth conspiratorially while holding penny slightly to one side]
"Even though her eyes are up here," [points to googly eyes] "when she takes your photograph she will wink at you from here" [points to lens]
[child is intrigued]
"Do you think you can catch her do it? She's quick! It wont be easy!"
[child nods emphatically & stares, unblinking, down my lens]
[click]
"Did you see her??"
If they nod, I know I got the shot. If they didn't, then I can guarantee I didn't get the shot I wanted.... but the child wants a second try =D
If you are wanting to see more shots, there are 4 albums up in my
gallery so far & heaps more on the way.
My NaNoWriMo has really suffered from my workload of late =P
