Shoes :: Converse 'Chuck Taylor' All Star
Lately it seems almost everyone I know has at least one pair of "Chucks" or a fake.

2. When did you get your first pair? maybe 2002ish? not 100% sure
3. Why did you buy a pair of Chucks? they would be the red boot ones I got for about 2 pounds from a cheap bit of everything mostly food store in the UK while we were buying some much needed groceries. always wanted a pair and couldn't believe the price so dived right in and changed into them in the rain while waiting for the bus home.
4. What types/colours of Chucks do you have? I have a denim low cut Pair, a red boot pair, 2 black pairs, one low cut one boot... i think thats all of them.. where they all are is the question...
5. Are the majority of your Chucks in good condition, medium condition or dying? medium.. they're all sheep 'ah hell why not' shoes so it doesnt surprise me their all a bit roughed up but the red pair are pretty much unwearable now. not that that stops me now and then.
6. Do you go to the same shop for your Chucks? Is it standard retail, Converse shop, Converse factory outlet, market, market overseas, online or other (please specify)? always an impulse buy from cheap stores. if i have the money plus some in my pocket and they have a pair in the right size I'll go for it.
7. Do you like them for the brand & model or are you in love with the shape & don't care if they are copies? in love with the shape and style, never cared about validity when they fit the purpose.
8. Is there a pair of Chucks you've seen somewhere & really want them but haven't gotten them yet? I saw a pair that went all the way up past the knees somewhere a while back but it was in a photo or something (can't remember) and havent seen them in stores. I also love watching 'bobsmade shoes' on deviantart, they paint one of a kind artwork onto converse shoes and they're always kick ass.
9. How often do you wear them? maybe once a month or so i'll slip them on but because of the quality i try to make them last by not wearing them too often.
10. Have you edited any of your Chucks? What have you done to them? I scribbles on the toes, usually my logo or something. my does decided to edit a pair a lil at one point too.
11. Do you keep them neatly, stuff them in the corner or leave them where they fall when you take them off?leave them where they fall but mostly i throw them to the bottom of my wardrobe.
12. What is the worst that has happened to your Chucks? climbing along the rocks at the beach and getting soaked, leaving them in the sun to dry, now they smell salty, the colour is a lil worn and the rubber bits are dying.
13. What is the best thing about your Chucks? they're kinda flexible which i love, great for climbing things like rocks and trees or riding a bike. And i swear the rubber toe bit was put there just so i can have a scribble.
14. Would you have to be forced to admit a pair are dead & could you throw them away without issue? I'll admit they're dead but throw them away? Im a hoarder, They'll come in use one day for a guy folks dummy for the bonfire or some found object sculpture art or to draw at some point.. maybe..
15. What are the favorite pair of Chucks you own? the red boots ones. They're so cliche classic like the my girl movie!

As for your red ones, they still look brill in black & white.... that was a fun shoot XD
If you can find them all I'd love to get you & your chucks out for a *big* shoot....
