When I say I walked 3 ½ miles up hill both ways, I'm telling the truth.
I went to WV this weekend to spend a day with my dad and his friends on a sports day. I usually do this once a year. So we park in the middle. Walk up one hill to see WVU basketball. (By the way, this is WV. We call mountains, "hills"). Walk down the hill and eat. Walk up a hill on the other side to watch WVU football. One of the most frustrating and interesting games I have ever seen. The opposing team got a touchdown on the kick off. Most ridicules thing I have ever seen. 1 minute to go and we are down 15/20. We leave and walk ¼ of a mile back down the hill and they get a 2 point conversion (whatever that is) and then kick a 52 yard field goal to tie. So the entire city runs back up the hill ¼ a mile. We lose in overtime 23/26. The game ends, so we walk back down the hill.
All of this in the cold with a migraine.
My mom actually wanted me to go and walk 3 miles with her the next day. Crazy women.
