Pixel_Trade - Spreadsheet of Doooooooom
MJo5oh got an idea to start a community based on sharing Sims between members & using them instead of the Maxis townies in legacies for a bit of diversity (see this post for more). From that, the idea grew & pixel_trade was born.
Genetic experiments between different members' Sims, legacies, uglacies, prosperity 'hoods & general... well... trading.
As more people joined & shared, I thought of keeping track of what & who I was downloading. Notepad wasn't keeping up. I opened up excel... & so began the start of entering all the Sims, Pets & Founders on offer from the members of pixel_trade.
It was a daunting task. I spread the data out over four worksheets; Story/Legacy Sims, Pets, Founders & Stories. When I told MJ about my project, she asked if I'd be willing to make it public. So I began to tidy it up. The headings don't scroll, so you always know what data you are reading. The filters work; with sorting including by creator &/or surname.

& the currently running stories with whose Sims have appeared.
But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted stats in the spreadsheet as well. Because I like doing things right. Possibly also because I'm a glutton for punishment.
Needless to say, not only did I add the stats of Sims where available, I also added creators' comments, aspirations, turn ons & offs, stat overviews & star signs. Even some of the pets have their stats listed.
Even with everything that's been on my plate the last 4 weeks, including taking on yet another story project (which takes my total of current works to 9 damnit), I actually managed to get it finished tonight!
So now to relax, take a few killers for my back & vegg on the sofa to watch more Ashes to Ashes.
Or Call of Duty 4.

Here it is for your downloading pleasure. I'll be updating it weekly to coincide with MJo5oh's update posts at Pixel_trade

& 8 stories featuring downloaded sims.
To search by creator/surname etc you need to turn Filters to On.
Data>Filters>AutoFilter
Then utilise the drop down menus that the column headings become! Works best by creator.
Turn filters off the same way you turned them on =)
Comments are shown with little red triangles in the corner of cells (mostly found with Sim first names). Hover your cursor over them to view the comments by the Sim's creator.
Right Click & Save As: Spreadsheet
