Tutorial: Simple Screencapturing

A couple of people have commented on the images in my stories about my graphics & how do my ingame shots look so good.

For starters, I don't use the ingame camera. I use a free, downloadable program called Irfanview, & I've configured it to capture & save an image where I choose with a single button press.

Wow, thank you for this. I'm going to try it out!

I love screencaps but have never been able to get them to save to a file without having to exit out of the sims, open Paint, save the picture, go back in, blah blah blah. SUCH a pain. I tried another screencap program but couldn't get it to work at all... so I'm looking forward to trying this!

I remember doing that! I had a game with death that took an hour & a half including the alt-tabbing =P

The bonus of using the date & time code in the file name is that it keeps them in the order you took them =D
