..on the subject of recycling...
Some people make art or jewlery out of recycled materials or found objects. Is this worthwhile? Things like art or jewlery are really transient themselves (unless you get really famous), and the objects will likely end up in the trash sooner and later.
...on the subject of wind power...
(please note that I have not researched wind power before writing this at all (besides like two youtube videos and a billboard) so excuse my ignorance)
Wind power is having a hard time catching on for at least two reasons which are 1)They might break at high speeds (here) and 2)some people think they are ugly and maybe a third (again, no research) that they are expensive. Is it possible to just have a bunch of little ones and attach them to the side of buildings? It seems like a plethora of small ones could generate as much as one big one and if they were small they might be cheaper to make and mount. RIT's "wind tunnel" comes to mind as an ideal place to test this...
