Tidbits

Hey folks. There's a bunch of things that have been going on and I haven't blogged for a while - so here it goes.

-I'm enjoying working at Dover. While it is retail and is more physically demanding, it has a ton of perks (the employee discount being one of them). So far my favorite thing to do there? outfitting the little kids with boots and helmets. The child/parent configurations are often interesting. You have Knowledgeable Child/Clueless Parent (Parent is strictly the bank to support child's hobby.). Then there is the Slightly Clueless Child and the Parent who gets what the Trainer tells them to get (only mild arguments break out on this one). Finally, there is the Knowledgeable Child AND Knowledgeable Parent (Arguments between the two all the way around!).

-As for my Animal Communication website name etc.. my business coach helped me to settle on this: Compassionate Animal Communication (yes, that will be the full URL - the website is being built right now and is not live). I can however, receive emails at holli at compassionateanimalcommunication dot com. While I am being mentored by my teacher on the finer points of doing this professionally - I am doing communications for folks for $50.00. So, if you know of anyone who would like to have a reading done for their pets (they can be here or crossed over), send them on.

-William is phenomenal. I've started taking Dressage lessons to help improve my riding foundation. I love the instructor (her name is Barbara) and when I sit the way she tells me to - Wills has this amazing ground covering stride (which makes me think he could very well be the warmblood mix the sales contract says he is, or he is a beefy thoroughbred) not just at the walk, but for trotting too. My fellow boarder Jenny and I decided that we would love to take lessons with each other, so we are. I'm looking forward to our next lesson on Sunday.

-Joy and Sir Didymus are good. I wanted to skin Joy the other night...she stole my "Derby" beanie baby off of Epona's altar. Not only did she steal it - she chewed off an ear and chewed a hole in a foot releasing about 1/2 of the beans in the stuffed animal. (le sigh). That just means I need to keep my Craft Room door closed. PERIOD. Joy does want to hunt. She keeps eyeing the groundhog that comes to visit, as well as wanting to chase down every squirrel she sees.

-Pony & Pooch is doing well. I've joined my Leadshare group and I've been able to not only give referrals to my fellow members, but I've received referrals too. I'm also being able to partner with holistic vets and other pet centered businesses.

We will be staying home for Thanksgiving (sorry 'Burgh buddies!), which will afford me time to work some more.

That's about it for now..

For all those who have ever dared to dream - Dreams can be manifested, the Impossible is made Possible, and the Unreal becomes Real.

Cheers all!
