[Today is December 5th and everything is all set. The plates are neatly placed on one of the long tables along with what seemed like an endless array of foods - from steamed dumplings to curry rice, from grilled beef to some Britannian dish that the house elves made earlier. Kallen glances at what's in front of her with a tired sigh and her hands resting on her hips. She may have relied a lot on outside help in getting this all set up, but she's relieved that it's completed. Her blue eyes gaze upon the chessboard-pattered cake right in the middle with several candles on top, and a smile instantly appears on her face. Everything is going to be perfect.
Almost perfect. The Gryffindor's smile fades away as she's reminded of two people who are coming to celebrate Lelouch's special day. One of whom is someone she once considered her most infuriating enemy, and while he's not someone she'll consider a friend, she doesn't see the point in maintaining the animosity towards him - unless he pisses her off again, then all bets are off. The other person, on the other hand... Kallen has been entertaining the thought of transforming her into the yellow blob toy, then kicking her across the room and out the window.
As much as that thought is funny, Kallen lightly smacks her forehead with a groan of frustration. No point in thinking of trivial things when making Lelouch feel special is the number one priority right now, especially since this is supposed to be a jovial celebration after the Dementors incident. Briskly walking past the great brick fireplace and a group of house elves attaching balloons to walls, she crosses her arms and silently waits behind the portrait of fruit.]
