My back yard looks like a desert. The front fares a little better. Hopefully this will change now that fall is up on us. Spring and fall usually bring rain but it seems to go around us here.Still I will settle for it not being so hot.
The fence has cut back the wind some what but I have no regrets. I do enjoy the fact that the noise level has decreased substantially.
The landscaping timbers seem to have deterred the pooches next door from entering my yard uninvited.
Lab work continues to improve. Go me. :)
Today I am mostly pain free...It is a good day. You have to wonder at things when the day is based on how much pain you do not have. No headaches though I am not surprised because mostly they come when I work. I have high blood pressure when I work. The headaches are tension headaches...yes I tested that theory. Doctor says I am running dehydrated and really need to step-up the fluids. Got reminded today from her office.
This is why I need a sanctuary, some place to get away and touch the earth if only for a little while. Mom is starting to go outside in the dark with me once in awhile too. We enjoy quiet talks as well as looking at the sky. It will be fun once the burn ban is lifted. I so enjoy a fire. I have a fire pit but it still makes sparks fly, as there are cut outs on the sides. *sigh* One of these days I want a permanent one so I can invite friends over.
I love the idea of a fire pit with seating around it. It was one of my faves about camping.
Well back to research so later.
