The posty.
I did well last week, mostly, although at the time I felt like crap throughout. On Wednesday morning I got myself Massachusetts auto insurance. On Thursday morning I spent 3 hours at the DMV, registered my car, and got a driver's license here. I've come full circle, having moved about an hour or two east of where I was born, after gallivanting all over the countryside (MA -> NY -> MA -> CA -> CT -> NY -> IL -> CT -> MA) for, oh, 24 years.
Mostly, however, it just feels like I won't get charged for another year of CT auto insurance. Yay.
It's a good thing I love my job, cause there's not much else to love lately. Not that there's anything in particular to hate - but, you know, "eh". That sort of thing.
I need to get some stuff to spruce up my bedroom here at The Pearl. Jason suggested as much earlier today, and he's quite right. I need a big carpet. Or two. Some wall coverings. A little desk lamp. Did I mention a carpet.
I started this about an hour ago, and have since remembered that I need to do laundry this weekend lest I have nothing to wear tomorrow. Oops.
Perhaps I'll stop rambling now.
