. . . wow. Your situation sounds a lot worse off than mine. A TV crew recorded your parents and your sister as a family and they didn't include you?! That's terrible.
I can, however, at least somewhat relate to what happened to you. Over the weekend, my best friend celebrated her birthday party with another girl who was throwing a huge party in which everyone drove to her dad's house in Maryland after school Friday, went to a Renaissance fair on Saturday, and came home on Sunday.
Well, myself and my other friend, who happen to be VERY close with the aforementioned best friend, are both Jewish, so we couldn't go to the party. I begged my best friend to change her party so we could go, but she insisted that it was the only day she didn't have Color Guard.
So today, she came to school and showed off all the wonderful things she got at the Renaissance Fair, and talking to me constantly about all the wonderful, fun, and exciting things she did there, and telling me about 50 inside jokes, without explaining what they mean, and when
