So, I have had a *pretty awesome week*.
1) I got the job at the University! I am so excited to start. It will be so full of new challenges and new things to learn.
2) I got a story accepted for publication at ChiZine! This is the third of my stories to be accepted at pro venues, which means that I'm now eligible to join SFWA. I'm officially SFWA-Pro material.
3) I got a Christmas card from rionaleonhart (and Pyramid Head)! And now I want to know if Riona just decided it'd be a good idea to domesticate a Pyramid Head, or if the roving bands of Viera supposed to be guarding her campus from Pyramid Head attacks just aren't doing their jobs. Either possibility is concerning.
4) Tomorrow we get a ryuu_no_hime! AWESOME. (Though why she wants to come to Iowa City in the month of OMGWHYCOLD is beyond me.)
There is something very wrong about having Sam Tyler contemplating the emptiness of his life in Manchester as my happiest icon. Hrm.
