I will feed you with fiction, but only so long as you don't try to snack on my emotions. This is reciprocal. I enrich you, you make me feel good. It is not and cannot exist as a relationship wherein I feed you fiction and you make me feel bad.
Therefore please stop trying to twist me up when I go near you. Try to take more than I want to give you and I won't be giving you things at all. I'm sure you can see how this would be a step down for both of us.
