Has anyone on my FList linked to this already? If so, how did I miss it?
As
Barzelay.net puts it, "An autistic person made a short film about the differences between what she considers to be her natural language and the language that most of the world uses, and the ways in which those differences are used to alienate her, deny her fellowship and, effectively, strip her of personhood. In the first parts of the video, she communicates in her language, and then after that she explains a bit about what she was doing and "translates" for us. It's very, very interesting."
