The things.

Hey Everyone!

It's been what? Four monthes? I had every intension of updating everyday, unfortunatly I also had laziness. But finally I'm back, and I assure you this journal wil not die again! (*This week) Here is look at what I did in the past three days. I'm not going over the other three or four monthes because the DVD is coming out March 32nd. "Blake's Life: Season 6: Volume 33: Colin 4:"

Ok, so after work on Sunday I gathered all my geekly possessions into my Xbox purse and headed over to my cousins house (*Biff “The Mod-erator” Larken) with Justin and his friend Pat. As we wanted some healthy food to go with our party thing (*some Pringles, Coke, sugar donuts and other awesome food groups), we headed to the nearest Irving.  For some reason my bother sees the Irving as a grocery store… but I suppose it was a good choice considering our current needs. Ok, I promise there is something more to the store. So as we pull up, eight or nine bright yellow snowmobiles were just finishing filling up with gas. That or this just finished filling the station to impress everyone with how yellow they are. In any case, as we we’re walking into the Irving two or three of the snowmobilists looked inward to the direction of the young cashier and rev up whatever it is that’s in a snowmobile….V2 engine or something, I have no clue I don’t know or care about car specs. Anyways, all the snowmobiles then reved up in a “Hey Baby, I bet you wish this was a Hot Rod as bad as I do” rev, you totally know what I’m talking about. With that two of them took off, but the rest stayed. Thirty seconds later as we left the store the other two had realized that they were suppose to be acting cool with the other motorists. Fin.

For all those who don’t know, Lan Parties are when a man, or woman, or both, like a console system. Because they care for these systems, they want to socialize them in all the ways they we’re socialized (*Us video games folks don’t get out too often). So by taking a hub and many cords we hook them all together to play 8, 12 or 16 player. Some times these things don't work out so well, and an system will cut it's contection during the game. This only happened when I was winning, and realizing it was creating a rift between the Xboxs, I felt it only right to let others take a spot in the sunlight. In this case it was a 12-14 player gaming event. I did pretty well throughout the entire thing, not the best, certainly not the worst. I met many new people and ate like a billion cupcakes.

Biff Larken is the coolest cool-bot to ever program a programmable hard drive ever! My Xbox is now a Nextbox…ohh good god that was lame….

I had an awesome time yesterday with Kristin and the family at Crystal Palace. I concur with Kristin that the bumper cars hurt much more then they seemly seemed. Although my Mother managed to get four holes in one, I’d be lucky to get four holes in two... my mini golf lacks the skill I once had. McGinnis was a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Perhaps if children didn’t scream as they flew by in a roller-coaster as you placed your order they’d sell more food….

Apparently this young one, a friend of Grant’s making a guest appearance on the Blake show this afternoon, is somewhat of a rebel. Think of a rebel without a cause, take away all the tattoos and add in the factor he’s like eight. So far this afternoon I’ve caught him raiding the fridge twice. My Dad warned me this might happen since last time he was over my Dad caught him jumping on his bed trying to eat cheese… Currently Grant and the child (*Who will remain nameless because there is probably some law against naming him, plus I don’t know his name any who, so I just call him Jacob) are running around the house using their car launchers for a hot wheels set to shoot each other.  I worry about the future more and more every day…

“Is that Ann Culter? I saw her on Fox, she had a big piece of stupid stuck in her mouth.”  Good thing we get along so well, had he not laughed I'd certianly be one limb short by now, or have a bible purtroding from any, if not all, or my body cavities.

Through the past year I’ve been doing off and on writing projects. I realized early on I wanted to write a short novel, unfortunately I also realized I don’t have the patience. Although I slide in a poem now and then, I really enjoy writing short stories. Usually they involve a time in the past, unnamed characters and a lot of tragedy. After a lot of thought and a great idea, my newest project has come to form in my mind. I said, ‘Why not write a series of interlinked short stories?’ and I replied ‘My god you’re handsome….oh yes, stories…we’ll do that some time…” So recently I’ve been jotting notes. I have four interlinked stories that involve, affect, or are affected by the main character. The series will be called “Oath of Fealty”. It’s about promises made, broken words and broken hearts. Some day I’ll write about how pretty the world is, I swear! It’s set in Medieval Europe. The main character is a Bard, and is just plain cool.  For more information contact your local authorizes or go online, AOL key word “Awesomistic”.
