I downed the trust you shattered long ago and fell gracefully to the earth.
While my ambitions for you dissapeared, my sorrows grew.
Those words you told me when you looked into my eyes...
Still echo in my chest, beating like belligerent bells.
Boy, didn't they taste foul when they leaked down and melted my soul...
And if I'm so out of reach on the glass of this glossy green sea,
Then why does every glance you take send me roaring with the current?
Your lips, they bear the incredible power to stop my pulse,
And I know that your hands around my waist could start it again.
The tangibility of those secrets that your movements shared with mine,
It dissapeared with just one look into those chocolate eyes.
The hands that turn on that clock of borrowed blue
Reflect the ritarded rhythym of my sequestered solitude.
Oh, these dreams of the flavor of your lips...that my tounge will never taste
Always interrupted by the sunrise, burning like acid in my heart.
The light cutting into me with each dream of perfection ending,
But yet, in daylight mine eyes lie upon you like snowflakes fall
Leaving my dreams to drown in the rain falling without clouds of grey.

Somehow that boy could easily have me.
