I spoke to Wolfwood.
The killer's name is Amanda Young. Brown shoulder length hair, visibly 25-28 years of age, medium height and build, standard human, no supernatural powers.
The nature of her grudge stems from the fact that Wolfwood killed her in revenge after she put Wolfwood himself in one of her traps.
She trapped him to begin with because he "didn't appreciate his life", and otherwise cited it was a "game". She required that he follow directions to survive.
He doesn't know how to find her.
It's my opinion that he is in communication with her, or at the very least, is receiving some form of communication from her, as he was obviously somehow alerted to Livio's disappearance. Livio has been missing for at least a full day, and it's probable he's been trapped. Wolfwood refused flat out to allow me to go with him find Livio - I believe Livio has fallen victim to one of the traps, and that Amanda alerted Wolfwood and told him to come collect him. He said Amanda wouldn't be there and I got the feeling he wasn't lying, to his knowledge.
I am frustrated with not having gone with him, but there are no words to describe this man's stubbornness. He was honestly willing to NOT go help his friend to keep me from going with him or following him.
It was a call between letting him to go Livio, and Livio getting at least help from Wolfwood, or letting him go with no help at all and continuing to press Wolfood for information. I let him go. I'm not happy with it but I could not abide Livio being left alone.
We need to put out an APB for information concerning the wherabouts or other information about Amanda Young, and also warn the City to not go anywhere alone, and stay out of the underground.
I'd keep the nature of the traps quiet for now to keep people from copy-catting it or agreeing with it.
I'd also not explicitly say why you're looking for Amanda Young. It might be prudent to say, if asked, that we have reason to believe her life is in immediate danger. There IS the possibility that people who want to help her in her crusade of torture will find her first and make this mess a hundred times worse.
That's all just my opinion, though. My experience is all in wartime and none in domestic law enforcement. I really need to get some sleep.
Nero went with me looking for Livio - we split up and that's when I ended up running into Wolfwood. He pointed out that the female victim who was attacked with Vash is Meryl, another from Wolfwood's world. He also pointed out that Young is likely drugging her victims first. Does that match up with the reports from the hospital?
Nero has also expressed preliminary interested in helping out the police, so someone might want to talk to him pretty soon, seeing as we can use whatever help we can get, and he'd be an asset.
