Yeah, I think most of us have mixed feelings about POTO. I like it for a lot of reasons (Gerard Butler is a huge plus in my book... LOL) but there are some definite flaws.
Music of the Night is my favorite sequence in the film. I'm glad I saw it on the big screen because the grandeur of it definitely gets lost on TV.
I get a lot of sinus infections too; in fact, I had sinus surgery several years ago. UGH. That was worse than childbirth. Natural childbirth at that. I've never been so miserable in my life. Anyway, fall in the South is always a big trigger for all 4 of us, thanks to goldenrod and the ever-pervasive mold down here. Bleah.
My younger daughter just came and told me she has a headache, which is is how it started for my older daughter a couple of nights ago. I fear she's coming down with the same thing. :-(
Do you take medication? I use Claritin and Flonase nasal spray, which helps most of the year, but I always get infections in the fall and spring. I think there are just too many allergens around for medications to suppress completely.

in the movie when Christine mouths "I love you" to Raoul before kissing the Phantom (one example of what I don't like). I think it 'wrecks' the moment.
PS--Nope, I don't take any meds. The nasal sprays smell funny and do nothing for me. My infections usually require meds, sigh. Which is why I can only take like two left. I'm allgeric to many, many antibiotics. I do sometimes take Sudafed but it gives me a huge headache:(
PPS--sorry to hear about the younger daughter getting sick as well. hope both daughters feel better *more hugs to them*

I like Patrick Wilson but he was completely emasculated in that movie. Phantie baby definitely got all the testosterone. I think a lot of us wondered why she'd pick Raoul over him, much less mouth "I love you." XD
