In Purgatory, Sam bound Elias Finch's soul to his right arm and Madison's soul to his left. Kane moved him to the portal so he could escape. Kevin summoned the angel Joshua to ask him about God, but then found himself stalked in a bus station by other angels. Dean summoned the Fates Atropos and Nona in attempts to bring their sister Lachesis back into the fold. They agreed, but when Castiel left to help Kevin, the two Fates captured Dean and knocked him unconscious.
