Theo and Hermione are god awful people in this, unforgivably awful. They seriously pissed me off to a degree that scared me a bit. What they did was so incredibly immoral and frankly disgusting, I mean who the hell does that? I'm glad Draco got a happy ending out of it, but I just cannot get over how Theo and Hermione acted. I really don't think this falls under slight dub-con at all, but full on noncon since neither of them were in any position to consent and Draco was put in the situation without even his prior knowledge.

This fic is very well written but I'm sorry, Theo and Hermione prevented me from enjoying this fic. I hope there's a sequel where they get their comeuppance, I hate them that much.

Uhg, me too. Especially when they freaking laughed at Draco. Who the hell does that? "I was drugged, had sex/possibly raped someone, and am terrified that they'll come after me." "LOL, I hit you with a spell then watched you go off with someone that I won't tell you the name of, isn't that funny?" No, fucking hell no!

..... a little harsh! It was a bit badly done by them, but remember, they're Draco and Harry's best friends. The way I understood it, they were pretty certain Draco/Harry liked it each other. They've been hanging out together for at least three years - Draco helped arrange Harry's surprise b-day or something.
And Draco doesn't think that he raped someone!!! They clearly enjoyed it, both in Draco's memories and for real. It was just a way to hopefully get them together. Geez.... Also, they knew Harry wouldn't "come after him" and Draco should understand that if Theo is calm about it, there's nothing to fear...

First, I really enjoyed this. Draco alphabetizing his list was super fantastic. There were moments where I literally laughed out loud. A fantastic first HP fest entry! And, once I find out who you are, I'm stalking you... you have more HP fic, right? Right?

Second, I'm going to run the risk of pissing people off and say, I didn't, even for a second, consider this noncon. Maybe Harry had been drinking, but he was a consenting adult. I know that Draco didn't consent to having the spell cast on him, but it didn't make him do anything he didn't want to do. He wanted to do it leading up to the spell, and he was still consenting afterwards. I'll give you dubcon, just for the fact that he didn't ask to be placed under the spell, but I just don't see rape here.

Well done, mystery author, and I hope you decide to continue writing for HP fests!

I was just going to say that I enjoyed this fic. That it was a nice flangsty fluffy read that moved at a nice pace

Please let me try to explain why I felt it crossed a massive line. While I understand your example of going out to a club/party and your friends handing you drinks to relax is fine, it doesn't really compare to what was depicted. While going to a party with the intent of flirting, dancing, and having a good time is fine and dandy, what Draco was doing was working at a fundraiser for his charity where he specifically took steps to prevent himself from getting drunk. It states that he made sure to only have one drink that he used more as a prop then an actual beverage. More over, he was working. I've worked many charity events, you are on the job and getting drunk in any way is very bad. Getting drunk when you represent your cause to possible donors and legislators can destroy all the work you have done, it could have ruined Draco's career
