I wonder...why is it that I feel comfortable talking about controversial issues in front of just about anyone? It's because I'm a damn democrat, isn't it? LOL.
If some man took your baby boy from you and went after them with a sharp instrument until they cried like the devil warmed over, how would you feel? I know I would feel pretty damn terrified for the safety of my kid. Babies aside. Imagine being a guy, I know it's hard, but just imagine it. Ok, now imagine one day you notice you are missing a little something, and you wonder why your parents decided that you didn't need it without your input. What am I talking about? Snip, snip snip. RIC. It's everywhere in the United States, and I'm one of the people against it...mostly because I think it violates human rights. Sure, parents can decide to give their babies vaccines, medicines, etc, but cutting off a piece of their body without permission? That just sounds unethical. I think we're all girls here, yes? Then I'm comfortable saying this. Imagine if your parents had your hood removed when you were little, you know, that magical little thing that protects your "magic button". Yeah...it'd be like that. Yeah...it'd be fucking annoying. Now on to personal preferences. I believe that anything done to the body for a "cosmetic effect", aside from tattoos and piercings of course, is wrong. It's like people are putting their babies through plastic surgery...are we that obsessed with a warped vision of the ideal?
Oh yeah, and I found this absolutely HILARIOUS comic about it. Sure we want to make a difference, but making something this silly and offensive...fff:
http://foreskinman.com/index.htm Yeah...RANT. I have to rant somewhere you know.
