JD was kind of a dick the last time we hung out. He smoked a lot of my cigarettes, after the 2nd one he'd stopped asking. Still, he tells the best stories- carries on for hours, but when you look in his eyes, you can tell he truely believes. You've got that look in your eyes, too, but you don't carry on for hours or steal my cigarettes, for which I thank you.
I haven't posted in a while, but oh well. I'm working as distribution & accounts manager for RVA Magazine (http://www.rvamag.com), which is fun, and time consuming, and more work than I thought it would be- but it's great experience. That, and it doesn't pay yet- nobody's getting paid yet, actually. indie mag, so forth and so on.
I'm working at a hip-ish italian bistro / martini bar. it's a decent gig, but horribly mismanaged. Technically, I'm looking for a new job, but I've been slack on that. Need to get on top of it.
