[G1] You Fight Me

a/n: This is perhaps the most fucked up relationship I have ever written for the Twins. It's a prequel to Six Feet From the Edge and as soon as I figure out a title for that series, I'll give it one. It's also a flash fiction fill. This one is dark, twisted, and NSFW. Heed the warnings.

You just love leaving comments for dracoqueen's stories, don't you? I say that, since I've noticed you leave a comment both here and at Ao3 for a number of her stories and chapters. ^_^

Nope! I actually find it rather encouraging like "hey! she liked it enough to comment twice! how awesome is that!" aslfkfha;lkjslg. And then I flail around for a bit and grin and go, "I better write something else good, too!" And then I giggle to myself a bit more.

So. Yeah. Not annoying at all. <3

No, "enjoy" would not be the word I'd use. But I can see how things happened. You said that it seemed to make Sideswipe the villain, but I could see several places in Sunstreaker's thoughts where he seemed to be, as Insecuriosity put it at Ao3, "rationalizing" it. He knew it wasn't right, and he still did it anyway. Yeah, Sideswipe could be seen as the villain here, but even with looking at it from Sunstreaker's POV, you can understand his attitude. He's angry, and from his POV, feels he has a right to be so.

You're absolutely right and I'm very, very glad that I managed to convey what I wanted to convey. I worry that I'm being too vague sometimes. (I need reminding that readers don't need to be hit over the head with plot hammers, lol).

Truthfully, they both have a right to be angry and Sideswipe purposefully holding out on Sunstreaker was a bit of a dick move, but considering that Sunstreaker was an aft in the first place, it comes across as being only fair.

Man but their relationship in this series is the definition of complicated for me. I really hope I can find some time to flesh out all the headcanons I've got. Why can't we have 36 hour days instead of 24??? lol

Some don't and some do. I've run across the later, and have had to apply it when I've had those commenters visit. Fortunately, there don't seem to be too many of those.

Whatever happened to cause the breach, I really think I can understand to a point why they won't discuss it with anyone. I wonder if Ratchet would change his mind about trying to reconcile them if he knew.

If you figure that out, let me know. ^^

Poor Ratchet is operating under two frames of mind: Family should stick together, and they are lucky enough to have family, they shouldn't be so selfish as to drive it away. He knows they need to get along to get healthy and it frustrates him that they won't just do it. As Ratchet would say, "he's good at fixing the physical, but the mental is beyond him" and there's no true psychologist among the Autobots (I don't count Smokescreen). Ratchet's doing the best he can and unfortunately, he's actually make it worse. That he doesn't understand why he's failing only adds to the problem.

.... and I babble. :)

So I was waiting to comment, because I kinda had to wrap my brain around things and reread this about eight more times ( ... )

It's really hard to write them at odds. Tore my heart to pieces the whole time I was doing it. (But I also loved it, if that makes any sense, I'm not right in the head, lol ( ... )
