September in Overview
Well, thanks to RL August was a bust but here's hoping September will be better. Not that I didn't have some accomplishments. I got "Wayward Sons" posted and I finished "War of the Animum: Interlude". Woot! I've mostly got my n_wilkinson livejournal/dreamwidth up and going. Just a few links to smooth out and some missing fics to upload and then it'll be good to go.
What's on tap for September?
I'm rather determined to start getting shit done. So "War Without End" is my September focus. I hope to get at least Skywarp and Drift's part done, and maybe Bumblebee since his is a one-off. I want to start crossing things off lists so it's tackle, tackle, tackle. Which means I should be posting Thundercracker's part sometime this month.
In and around that, I'll probably put some words down on my original fic "Shady Hill" and I'll keep plotting out a new original fic of mine that's only in the world-building stages right now. I'm calling it an inspired cross between Real Steel, Transformers, and Pacific Rim. With a dash of Children of Men for added angst potential. I figured I might as well put my obsession with all things robot to use and start putting out something of my own. I'm also world-building a zombie apocalypse fic, too since I've always been fascinated by those kinds of stories. But I'll talk more about these on my other LJ. It should be up and running here in the next couple of weeks.
I've still got other fanfic works on the docket. I don't know if I'll get to them in September, but if I get a burst of inspiration, I'll work on them. That includes but isn't limited to: One More Night, Apple a Day, With Benefits, and Critical Mass, the latter I think I might go ahead and start posting, even if it's not finished, since everyone has been so patient. One chapter every few months is better than no chapters at all, yes?
Flash Fiction Friday will return September 20th. Sorry that I missed it in August.
