So I'm through (technically) my first week of school... Two days of classes a week since I crammed all my classes onto Monday and Wednesdays. However, that means that I have to do all my homework on Tuesdays and Thursdays (due to the fact that I am in class from 11:30am to 6:45pm every Monday and Wednesday)... And instead of reading my History (both classes of it) and Humanities homework, I am posting here lol *fail*
(seriously though I can only read so much about early human civilization and I took Cultural Anthropology in which we did nothing but talk about this stuff all semester ; ; Right now it's mostly review for me... Not that I mind)
So my class schedule is thus:
11:30-12:45 World History: Antiquity to 1500 with Kathryn Ordway (who insists we call her Katie and is HILARIOUS, I love her so much haha)
1:00-2:15 Middle Ages with Daniel Gore (Also hilarious. My quote of the month is "Say no to drugs... Say yes to unicorns.") I have a feeling I am going to love this class to fucking pieces. Also, I think I'm gonna do my 10-12 page paper on Merlin this semester.
2:30-3:45 Humanities: Early Civilizations with Lucy Graca (She's just fantastic in general... I didn't do so well in shakespeare but that was the semester right before I took a semester off so I was kinda burnt out on school for a while there)
5:30-6:45 Japanese IV with ... Wossname. New teacher that replaced Kim-sensei ; ; I miss Sensei. I think this semester's gonna be a lot of busywork... Buu.
It's a lot of history and readign and writing, but I managed to snag the presentation on Japanese creation myths in my world history class /o/ and I'll probably recycle that research over into my Japanese cultural project thing... Kind of excited to do Merlin for the 10-12 page paper, if Gore okays it. Sent out an email today to him, and crossing my fingers.
As for costumes, I'm cranking along on most of them. Undertaker's first layer is done, and I've gotten quite a bit of Frings done as well (need to run by a fabric store somewhere and get some cotton that matches the taupe to line his shoulder pieces) but because of my lack of tan fabric I have to put Frings on hold. I have fabric for Reaper Grell and also for the Coming of Age Ceremonial outft for Gilbert, which I could start cutting out (technically haa), and also the fabric for Butler Grell (which I also should just suck it up and cut out...) but I need to line that one, buu. I'll probably line Reaper Grell too.
Still haven't found buttons for Frings, unfortunately. Nothing seems to work, buu. Everything's either too foofey or too small. I've come to a slight dilemma with Undertaker... I have boots, yes, but I need to figure out if I want to do bootcovers so they're as long as the picture, or if I want to just say fuck it and go with the ones I have. I would do a poll but I know nobody reads this u.u;;
So... Costume progress is thus:
Undertaker (Kuroshitsuji) 45% done; still remaining...

Okay so it doesn't LOOK like a lot but... yeah. Most of it is just sitting down and doing it and getting it done. That is also how homework will probably be for me this semester. No huge projects other than the paper thank god, but it'll be a lot of reading and writing... Wish me luck!
