Of NaNo, Birthdays, Etc.
So, since it's been a while since my last post... I'm just gonna glob everything together here haha.
Last weekend, napkins and bisouspapillon and sailorsirius stayed at my house. On Friday, I got off work at 12, and went down to the airport to pick Chira up, and then we headed back to my house, with a stop at Sonic on the way home (drive ins ftw), and then later Jacqui and Siri came over after keikanas went to pick up Siri from Boulder. Molly came too, to drop of cosplay stuff for the weekend.
We ordered chinese and it was delicious. Then we made a quick walmart run at like 11 and I got stuff for chili, threw it all in a crock pot and simmered it before going to bed. The next morning was madness. Woke up, took a shower, got into cosplay, drove over to Meggie's, drove downtown to Molly's mom's apartment, then did the photoshoot which was hilarious and fun and aaahhh so excited to see the pictures. It was great to see everyone, too ♥ (veronicesque and livingdeadjules I'm talkin' about you) since it is not nearly often enough that we hang out.
After the shoot we basically rushed back to my house. Izzy had beat us there lol... so then we parked, and ran inside, I didn't even change out of Austria before everyone got there (surprisingly on time btw lol), and then we played an awesome game of apples to apples (with 9 people it is ridiculous amounts of fun). Took a break for cake and presents. My loot now includes No Plot, No Problem, the first Young Wizards book, and a 30 dollar gift card to borders (ILU as_silver_seeps & Andrew who's LJ I don't know...) along with a scarf and a papercraft Austria (w-which Maru has decapitated........ ; ;) from Izzy. Sunday was full of lulz and then emos. Pancakes were had in the AM with Meggie (her and Jacqui filmed their World Conference thing together) and then I took Katie and Jacqui to the airport. Most of the afternoon/evening was spent emo-ing and cleaning up after the party and the stay over. Good times, memories etc ; ; I miss you guys alreadyyyy TAT
Anyway, that's that. And then madness. School's been kind of nuts this week. I have two exams tomorrow and I had a midterm due on Monday and an essay due on Tuesday. (exams are in Anthropology and Physics, I'm totally ready for Anthro since I spent a couple hours studying the terms, and I need to spend a few minutes looking over the essay question stuff before class. Physics is open-book, open-note haha...)
But in other news... NaNo in Ten Days! Who else is doing it? (X3 add me if you are~ but post here too so I know who you are on there ; ;)
I'm totally excited. My plot's kind of generic at first glance, but it's gonna have a totally awesome twist at the end that you will not be expecting at all bahahaha. I need to come up with characters and a setting before the 1st though or else... yeah. I'll be floundering. I need to outline, too X_x Look forward to daily wordcount updates lol...
A-and one more cosplay blarg ; ; I'm adding Jade to my possible Fanime list, because apparently some people are wearing Tales and I need to have an excuse to finish that costume anyway... So I think winter break will be filled with cosplay... buu.
