(no subject)
Because I have pictures, I am going to blog!
On Tuesday after I got off work, I came home and changed really fast, and then headed down towards Colorado Springs to celebrate with veronicesque for her graduation! I got a little lost getting off the highway (and I was cranky from not eating T3T) so until I scarfed an apple I was kinna cranky, so I apologize to all! ; ;
Met up with keikanas, veronicesque, livingdeadjules, and Jake, and we hung out for a while, watched Jake and Meggie play RE5, and then we went to dinner at Applebees. Om nom A1 steak burger was DELICIOUS. Good times were had, then we went down to the arcade at Mr. Biggs and I played a song on Beat Mania! whoo! I suck so bad haha ; ; So much fun though.
I was totally pooped after that though, so when we went back to Misun's house we had some fruit and chilled outside for a bit, lols were had (I NEED THOSE PICTURES BTW) and then we went back in, chatted about cosplays etc, and then I fell asleep on Meggie, so shortly after we all went to bed.
I was first up in the morning, so I ended up sitting on the couch and playing some DS, and JAKE CAME UP BEHIND ME AND GAH. Made me jump ; ; Woke me up, for sure lol... Everyone wandered downstairs, more video games were played, and at around 10 Meggie headed back home. After she left, Misun and Jake went to the grocery store to get breakfast stuff, so we had maple sausage and Pamlet omcakes (long story.) and fruit again (YOU AND YOUR FRUIT, MISUN. ♥). Then we headed up to the Cave of the Winds, and got our tickets for the Lantern Tour... But it was around 2PM then and we had the 6PM tour lol SO. We wandered around trying to find a hiking trail there, to no avail, so we went back down the mountain and back to the arcade. Played a couple games of pool, a few games of air hockey, the computerized whack a mole, got some tickets, got some army men and plastic pirate swords, and then after realizng we had nothing left to do, went back to Misuns house again for a few minutes before FINALLY heading back up to the caves, where we took the lantern tour...... (some of these are from the first time we went up the mountain btw.)

And then INTO THE CAVES....
This stuff is called "flow stone" :3 it's formed by the water dripping off the ceiling.
When the first tours were brought through the caves in the early 1900s, the guy who ran them would have people put their business cards there, and then he could tell how many people from what states came to his caves!
but according to the stories, he didn't like texas, so this is where he would put the texas cards. Thus, "texas pit" if I remember right.
MOLD ALL OVER THE WALLS. This stuff was so cool I couldn't NOT take a picture though. Basically, back on the first tours, the guy had a Native American mummy in the caves, and one day it disappeared because his wife dragged it into this cavern, and it started to decay because of the moisture. So... The mold is from the mummy, and it's been growing for over 90 years.

After that, we went back to Misun's house and had dinner thanks to her mom's awesome cooking skills. (Misun, give your mom a huge thanks from me! T3T So good) And after that I headed back up since I worked today.
In other news, we've officially got a table at the Stinking Rose for the 17th at 6PM. /o/
