I can't play frisbee. For that matter, neither can I play goalie for football. =\ Sir! Can we please go back to floorball? T_T (Actually, it's okay, because my class is still able to pull stupid stunts no matter what we do.) PS: Football with two goals (as in, the thingum you score into) per side is absolutely infuriating.
I just survived two days on less than 7 hours of sleep. O_O Wherein I did my physics SPA and an econs test. Oh dear. Chem SPA next week, and after that, only one more physics SPA left! The end of the labyrinth is in sight! =D
It's O level results time again. I feel really really sad. Because my two main CCAs have quite high proportions of non-IPers, turnover is especially drastic. It's horribly cruel, just because of something stupid like marks to yank people out of a whole ecosystem of new relationships and friends. And it will be even worse this year, because there are fewer places for O level students because of all the IPers. I am very unconvinced about the benefits of IP, and this is not helping. And the top students are interesting, because it proves that non-elite schools are perfectly capable too. Go them, I say! Competition is good. (I really like Cedar and Dunman people - most of them are very nice, down to earth individuals. Great schools.) [On a slightly more subtle note, I shall present the following logic sequence: Certain Sec School is half IP. Certain sec school is brand name school. Certain sec school has how many people in top students rankings...?]

Been doing a GP project about the Vietnam war, and the similarities to it and the current Iraq war are just stupefying. Guerilla warfare, stupid presidential decision after decision, various scandals like My Lai in Vietnam and Abu Gharib in Iraq, a country of attack with only partial support for the US, a war of self-defence, growing lack of domestic supprot for the war... The list goes on. The Vietnam war cost over four million lives. The effects are still felt today, in Vietnam and the US. Refugees, psychological disorders in veterans... How could a mistake like the war in Iraq be made after something like the Vietnam war? How could those Vietnam veterans condone another war in Iraq? Kerry himself served in Vietnam and therefore did not support the war in Iraq - and Bush, the great war-mongerer, did not. The Vietnam war outlasted six US presidents. How could such an obvious, repetitive mistake be made? It simply boggles the mind.
History seems doomed to repeat itself. I'm just... Crushed. It's stupidity, all of this.

I admit that 3D diagrams help for chem, but those 3D balls look positively lurid. O_o And note that we are talking about Sn2 the backside attack mechanism. O_O Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts! X_X
A particularly disturbing batch of cloudy Ice Lemon tea. Compare with previous pictures of Ice lemon tea. Note vast amounts of suspensions. Ew. Apparently, it tastes okay though. =\ (<- too scared to try) (Wasn't my ice lemon tea, anyway. =D)

Personally, the best CIP I've ever done was still tutoring at Jamiyah, because it was a personal interaction and was so much more meaningful then just begging with cans on orchard road. I'm right now goiong to do something completely weird and put out a song identification request for a chinese song. yes, a chinese song. I keep hearing it on the radio and its driving me MAD. The only lyrics I can make out is "wo ai ni" and "I don't wanna (something something)". It's sung in a very mumbly, male voice, sorta slow. Not sure if it's 0932, though it doesn't seem like it (because I can't find that mp3). I need it! I want it! I'm going to die without it! So yeah, if anyone can make a positive ID I'd totally owe ya one. *drawls*
