The Apocalypse + Day 9
The Apocalypse
We went to bugis. Have was wreaked at Action City. I now own a Hitsugaya collar pin, bwahahaha. >_> *ignores fact that Histugaya is probably younger than her by now* Kai + Pig = Scary. Ele-san - Byakuya = Scary. Kai + Ele-san = HMMMMMMMM. XD Picked up Xbox and PC games for Otouto (FABLE TLC! FABLE TLC! YAY!), and then went off to wreak havoc at my house.
... I think my parents scare people. Especially my mum.
Listened and sang to music, then watched Samurai Champloo, yay. And had dinner. And Ben and jerry's phish food ice cream should be ILLEGAL, it's that good.
And yea, the four horsewomen of the apocalypse shall ride forth... XD

Day 9. (It is a sign of waning interest, that the job attachment does not get it's own header now.)
Hhhn, back story first. Due to attending a certain secondary school and a certain uni, Tou-san knows a few VIPs. The big joke is that our MP, who is a minister of state, is actually my dad's junior. And the minsiter was doing house calls yesterday, and he came to our house. Mm.
So today was another press conference, and guess which minister was giving a speech? =D
Actually, I've met him before already... You know the writing prize last year? Yup, guess which minister had to give a speech then. He's pretty funny actually. At the press conference, he was like "OH, those boring details are in my speech. I didn't say them because I'd thought I should say something more interesting." And the comms exec with me was like >_< ! (Because all these ministers have their speeches written for them by our dept) But apparently he does this all the time. XD
Press conference was about RELC helping to train master teachers from Banda Aceh, y'know, Indonesia. It's amazing really, because some of the teachers here had their wives, children, parents killed by the tsunami, but less than one year on, they're here in singapore to learn english, and to go back to train more teachers to teach english, to help rebuild Aceh. Truly, the spirit of human determination.
Zao bao journos are creepy.
... I stoned and wrote weird stuff in the afternoon. Hm.

Guess who has a new camera. =D OMG, it's so freakin' PRETTY. *_* (new camera's opportunity cost = new phone + new tablet, but I think it's worth it). ANTI-SHAKE. Yes, I bought the lumix after all. =D Leika-chan and I shall wreak subversive havoc on the world, yay! ... Not a bad deal really. Bundled with a tiny table tripod, a case, a 256 and 512 SD card, plus a free CD case, two free shaw movie tix, a 200g famous amos voucher, and $50 soo kee jewellry voucher. Not bad. =D COOKIES. MOVIE TIX. $50 voucher has gone to the "mum's belated birthday present" fund... Which Tou-san will probably forget all about so I will have to go kick him.
... I have to write reflections for my dept, since tomorrow is my last day. I hate reflections. Hate hate hate hate HATE. *STAB*
