The smell of popcorn is killing me...

Really, it's quite annoying. Someone made popcorn in the break room which is a mere 10 feet from my cubicle, and that stuff is potent. *ACK*...too much salt in the air...

Tuesday night's softball games were quite satisfactory, I must say. We won the first in just 3 innings, although I'm sure the fact that their center fielder fell and broke 2 toes and hyperextended his knee had something to do with that. It was a shame, too, because we were beating the hell out of them. The score was 13-0, 2 runs of which I scored IN THE SAME INNING. I was also 2 for 2 in that inning, which undoubtedly boosted my batting average significantly. Unfortunately, no stats were recorded for that game because it was ended in the 3rd inning and therefore classified as a forfeit. Oh well. We still got the win.

The next game we scored 5 runs right off the bat (haha, bat...) but were constantly at odds with the other team, because they scored as many runs as we did per inning. We were deadlocked at 8-8 until the bottom of the final inning, where they scored a run. We lost. Poo. But we still treated it as a win, because we did, at least, play pretty well. And I went 3 for 4 in that game, too, while playing 1st base every inning of both games. Oh, and Rob actually had a Barnaby's shirt made for me (#19), which was cool.

Otherwise...hmmm. I've gotten used to taking naps when I get home from work, because it's relaxing and I don't really want to spend the entire night playing video games or watching movies. Better than sleeping at work, which is admittedly possible but not very comfortable.

Tomorrow I'm leaving early to head over to York to meet Julie, and then going out to a Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert. I don't really care about the Counting Crows much, but I DO like GGD very much. And this will be the first "actual" concert I've been to, because it's a huge stadium-type area with sold-out tickets. Third Eye Blind was close, but that was a much smaller and more personal type of concert. Should be pretty fun :). And then, of course, a weekend with Julie is always a welcome prospect.

Only 2 more weeks until I'm done with this limbo-life.
