Mini update - I made a thing :)
OK, still not the update I meant to write about my week... but anyway, today I was lucky enough to arrive home just in time for the mail to be delivered. I got the e-reader I bought last week, I got myself a kobo mini - unused and resold by someone who didn't need it. (And honestly, it has so little space for books/fics that I would never have bought it full price, but so far it seems totally neat! I haven't used a touchscreen & e-ink-reader before.)
Anyway, so I started making a protective case for it tonight. (even If I kind of should have been writing this thing for a course) What can I say, when I get an idea, I sometimes just have to try it out immediately... Even if it means I will inevitably end up realizing that while I had a plan, there is always something I should have done in a different order. Or I will get tired of needles and staple things together. /o\ And yes I was working on top of my laptop basically, because sometimes I am silly like that.
Materials: cardboard, some fabric, foam paper (think that might be what it was) and elastic straps/bands (had to google around, and yeah, maybe that's what they are called in English... )
Anyways, happy Friday to all... and hope you don't have to catch up on work during the weekend!
