Relations and Random Visits (RP Log, Meant for Euphie~)

Hitomi was fidgeting nervously in front of a dorm room door. She had been wandering the halls when she was stuck with the urge to visit Euphie. Of course, she had already made her way to her friend's dorm room before she actually considered how obtrusive she might be by randomly showing up like this

Euphie was in her room. With finals approaching, she had to study hard to make sure she did reasonably well. She looked up from one of her textbooks when she heard a faint knock at the door, then walked over to answer to.

"Hitomi! This is unexpected." She looked pleased to see her friend again, and hoped she was doing better than the last time they'd met.

Hitomi relaxed and smiled a bit when Euphie answered her door. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything." She said, looking a bit worried that she had, in fact, done just that.

"I was walking around and I thought I'd visit. I know it's sudden, but I was close by..."

"I was studying, but I can stop doing that for a while. I don't have finals until the end of the week. It's nice to see you again." Euphie kept grinning and opened the door to let Hitomi in.

Her room was very, very pink.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt your studying." Hitomi gave an apologetic bow. "But, um...If you're sure I won't be a bother...I won't stay long if you need to get back to studying."

She still looked a bit sheepish as she stepped into Euphie's organized- and very pink room.

"My family..." Hitomi seemed to hesitate before answering. "I lived with my mother and grandmother when I was younger- I knew nothing of my father really. The were both very kind and sweet...I have a lot in common with my grandmother.." She gave a small smile as she remembered her family back home.

"I haven't seen them for a few years now though...I left for a far away place when I was sixteen. My friends there became like a new family to me really...I missed them a lot before I made friends here. I miss them now and then still, but it's not as lonely anymore."

That sounded nice, compared to thinking about how many siblings she had, and what sort of man her father was like. She squeezed Hitomi's hand and reached for more jelly beans.

"I have a lot of brothers and sisters, but we're usually spread all over the world, so we don't see each other often. My father is the emperor of Britannia. In my world, Japan is part of the empire."

Hitomi seemed a bit stunned by the unveiling of Euphie's status, so much so that she was unable to verbally respond for a few moments.

"Your father is the emperor...so that would make you a-a princess right?" The news was a bit surprising, but Hitomi was determined to not treat her friend any differently because of Euphie's social status.

"Yes. That's only important at home, though. I'm just Euphie here." She smiled warmly at Hitomi, hoping it wouldn't change the way she was treated or spoken to.
