Mom's wet flat
It's bad. It's really bad. we spent all day saving whatever we could and emptying everything so that the flat could dry up, but the water is still dripping from the ceiling... I'm glad, though, I managed to cheer mom up and persuade her to come and stay in my flat until things get better (one room in hers is all right and she wanted to stay, but she has to keep electricity and water off and the air is atrocious).
At least almost no furniture is damaged and the kitchen looks good, and mom can stay here now and while I am in Germany, until the flat is habitable again.
Things could be worse after all.
