The Summer Taekwondo Camp with our Korean master is over :o(
It was a wonderful week. We trained a lot, and did various things in the time when we were not training, including climbing in 9 meters height on a pirate-ship shaped rope centre, which means you are climbing on very unstable ropes and various circus-like bridges and swings, feeling you can fall any time. Very adrenaline thing, and lovely. To get down we had to jump into free air and slide down on a single rope, suspended on the securing seat. Once we tried that, we all wanted to do it again, although it meant another, quite demanding, climb upwards.
Another fun thing we did was laser game - my first, and I loved it. We went in in teams, and running around and shooting my opponents with a laser gun felt A LOT like Stargate coming true. At first I was shooting at everything that was moving, which meant shooting each of my teammates once in the 20 minutes game, then I even managed to control what i was shooting and shot only the opposing team. We, the girls team, even beat the guys the second time, yay! We want to find a laser game in Prague, we all fell in love with it! The fun thing was our master played with us (in another group, so I did not get to shoot HIM), and when he got out and we asked him how it was, he answered, smiling: Oh, fun, I was shooting a lot, but often at my own team! :o))
I learned how to make Kimchi (hot HOT Korean cabbage), yum yum. We had a Korean dinner one night (the master and his wife made it for us), and there was a lot of Kimchi and sea algae which I love. The master saw me going for Kimchi more than the guys did, so he explained to me how to make it. I'll definitely try - Kimchi with rice is a full and lovely meal for me.
We also played a lot of football (my team won!) and volleyball (with a hard ball, so I hurt all over), and made fire and sang at night. I met many new friends, and feel at least some of the friendships will last, and I got a chance to talk to many of my old friends whom I do not meet that often, as we are a huge Taekwondo school and some of us get to meet each other only on summer camps.
One evening I also got to watch DOA, and except the looong views of girls' butts, I quite liked the movie. The fights were good :o)
Now I am exhausted and slowly getting back to reality.
