(no subject)
so my cat sent me on a "treasure" hunt today... first... there were bird feathers on the carpet just outside our back door... then there was a shrew next to her food dishes... then two halfs of a mouse at the bottom of the steps... then another shrew and two other mice on the sidewalk leading to the corner of the house... now... I know she loves me... and I know she's a hunter... but what the hell was she trying to do... lead me somewhere?... was odd... but I'm proud of her... I'm still waiting for her to find a rat... she's gotten almost everything else... squirles... birds of various sizes... (saddly including a crow... I was really proud of her on that one... mentioning sense they are the same size as her)... she chases cats and dogs... and sometimes people out of our yard... she's brought me snakes... slugs... bettles... frogs... (most of the frogs alive)... once she brought me a mole... bees... one time when we went out... I think it was the first time we went camping for a weekend sense we got her... and she was a bit lonely for that weekend... and when we got home... there was a pile of mice at the foot of the steps in the backyard... seven of them... I love my little hunter... and I always give her a treat when she brings them to me... (and then throw them away... but she doesn't know that part.)... anyways... yeah... was interesting trying to find everything tonight... and someone was really happy... she got catnip and tuna treats.
