Not only have I used Potter's influence as savior of the world to strong-arm the Ministry into allowing us to bring Goyle's son to visit him, I also set about investigating the possibility of reducing the charges against him . . . which Potter doesn't yet know, and I find myself less than thrilled about

Emmy and Bean are finally in bed. That's the last time we let them stay up until all hours with Amelia. I'm sure Shane and Charlie are ready to kill us. I vote no more sleepovers until things are a bit more settled around here.

They've both been peevish enough with another attention usurper to contend with, so I see it as a necessary evil.

Do you really want to bring up the subject of the sins of the father being visited upon the son? Because I can think of a few people on your side of the family who had a very hard time not doing that. One of them happened to be my potions professor...

I don't know. I doubt she would refuse if I asked her, but she also wouldn't come out and request it herself. My godfather would probably approve of her taking in a Pureblood Slytherin-in-training.
