Leaving Hogwarts was anticlimactic. Draco NEWT scores were second only to Granger’s, who’d taken hers over the summer. Draco was fine with that. After all, I’ve Harry.
They’d chosen a flat, Harry’s elf was preparing it. Narcissa’d assigned a Malfoy elf to ‘supervise’. Draco hoped any fighting would be over before they moved in.
Although they’d both be training at St Mungo’s, Draco would specialise in curse-damage, Harry in trauma. Their future was assured.
Still, Draco thought, contemplating the castle. Hogwarts is special. I'll miss it.
A hand slipped into his. “I’ll miss Hogwarts,” murmured Harry.
Draco smiled. “Me, too.”
