A New Tune

“Whose idea was this?” Draco grumbled.
“You’ll love it,” Harry promised, grinning.
Draco huffed, allowing himself to be dragged into the frigid darkness.
“Glad you came,” Hermione said, welcoming them.
Draco sighed, wondering if he was insane.
The group started off, and at each house they sang, then received hot chocolate. Within an hour, Draco was singing as loudly as anyone.
He was actually disappointed when it was over.
Once home, they settled by the fire to snuggle, slowly warming up.
“See? You had fun,” Harry said. “And brought others some Christmas cheer.”
Draco cuddled closer. Perhaps sanity was overrated.
