I have been crazy busy lately, and have fallen woefully behind on reading, commenting and welcoming newcomers (not to mention writing and posting). I do try to read everything that gets posted here, but it's been quite a challenge lately, and I anticipate it will continue to be for a few more weeks. :o(

As the dust settles around them, everyone makes their way into the Great Hall. Families huddle together, thankful to be alive. Others cling to one another in grief, knowing that there are some that will never return.
Amazingly enough, Draco made it through, as did both of his parents. He doesn't know what will become of their family now, what the future holds for them. Surely Lucius will return to Azkaban. But they are alive.
As Draco looks up, his eyes meet Harry's across the room. Harry smiles and nods in his direction.
Where there is peace, there is hope.
