Harry and Draco held hands as they walked away from the carnage of the final battle. It was finally over, and the rest of their lives were free.
“You know,” Harry said, finally breaking the tense silence. “I never wondered what I’d do after I killed him. I don’t know what I expected, but all I want is a good trifle. A warm, sweet, satisfying trifle.”
Harry turned as his blonde lover fell behind. The boy smirked mischievously at Harry.
“What is it?”
“I always knew you liked my custard, Potter, but really, all you had to do was ask.”
