Author's Notes2: This is a sort-of prequel to accioscar's Brave New World. The wonderful writing and the background story were so amazing that I asked for permission to write this. It's short, and it probably won't make any justice to the original, but at least I tried.
You stand in the doorway, looking at him retching, heaving, throwing up. You have already downed three apple Martinis in an attempt to gather up the courage you are famous for - to tell him how badly you need him to touch you, to kiss you.
You caress smoothly his back, murmuring soft words. He shakes his head and kneels on the tiled floor, looking up at you like a child looking for comfort. And you find your long lost courage in that silvery gaze.
You kiss him, and he kisses back, and it's like you are bathing in the sunshine.
