Ever since I took AP Psychology in High School, I've known that olfaction is the sense most closely tied to memory and is also the most readily dulled through familiarity, but I had not fully experienced how long one can remember a once familiar scent now rarely smelt and just how strongly the memories and feelings can be stirred by said scent.

Now I really need closure.
