Its been five days since you tackled me, I still have the rug burns on both my knees
That's right friends. Five more days and I shall be out of here. Ok. Technically its six, but seeing as I wanted to use that line for the song in my post I figured I'd lie.
I mowed the lawn today, which was hard because out lawn isn't flat. I got dirty then came inside and washed up to make....*drumroll* COOKIES!!!! *munches an oatmeal raisin* for the SCA potluck tonight. Heh. Food. Tis yummy.
I re-read The Ship Who Sings last night before I went to sleep. Its been a while since I've visited old school Anne McCaffery. I miss her. I dunno why, but Pern could never keep my interest for more than two books at a time. Her Acorna series was really good, but after Acorna got with the guy with the broken horn, I lost interest. Mercedes Lackey did a book in the Brain Ship series...I believe its titled The Ship Who Searched so maybe I'll collect the whole thing.
Hopefully the first book in the Lioness Quartet series will arrive today as the entire set has been taunting me from the 'not yet read' pile that I created a few days after my Amazon orders started coming in.
*muses* I could start on The Historian while I wait. After all, its been a while since I dove into a good vampire novel.
