Dear Unpleasant surprises:

Apr 03, 2009 08:23

So I am out of school this morning and was SUPPOSE to have the whole day, but I agreed to pick up a tiny four hour shift at work. So, anyway, I woke up, packed my shit, packed my Wiinona, and went to teh Boycreature's for morning cuddles.

Now, I've been playing FFCC:EoT* all week. Except for the last two days as I had a lot of school stuff to do and knew that it was a good idea to let my boyfriend level up within that time on his DS game so that when we got together today we could wack the hell out of the Ice Mountain 2 level and much fun would be had.

Now, my family apparently has completely ignored Wiinona these last few weeks to the point that most of the wiimotes weren't charged when I first decided to play again. (Which is REALLY frustrating btw...you go through all the trouble of getting a rechargeable wiimote battery and you set it up where they can SEE it...I mean the little charging deck LIGHTS UP as if to say, 'tired wiimote battery here!' and where do I find the controllers? On the couch.)

So while I should have checked this morning to make sure that FFCC:EoT* was in Wiinona before I packed her up this morning, it never occured to me that they would have used the system. Even though they have recently rented some really silly games for it, for the last few days, they haven't seemed to notice that the machine was even on. I'd figured I was the last to use it and I had also grabbed the game case with the thought that if someone had used it, they'd return it to the game case instead of...you know, leaving out where it could collect dust. That's what I do for them. After all this build-up I bet its easy to guess that my action packed dungeon crawling mess of AWESOME was NOT in its case, nor was it in my machine. Nope. Apparently U. David and A. Leslie played a bowling game that they had rented in the last two days.

T_T

So when I and the Boycreature fired up our little Wiinona and got all ready to do some awesome Multiplayer dungeon ass kicking....there was disappointment.

As in a loud and echoing cry of 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' that will never fade.

Because now I have to wait until AFTER I get back from work to play, as opposed to getting in an hour of awesomeness before work. *sadface* Oh well....
