Time for a quick update to recap the past couple weeks.
School started a couple weeks ago, my schedule is kinda messed up. I'm basically at Pierce all day mondays, except for a nice little two hour break. This semester, I'm taking Speech 101, Calculus, Health 11, Philosophy 9(Symbolic Logic), and Comp Sci 536(Intro to Data Structures); which gives me a good 17 units. I'm feeling a bit optimistic about my classes now, that will probably change as the semester progresses. My philosophy class seems like it will be easy as cake to me; data structures is all review for me now, but it's probably going to get more difficult in a hurry, hopefully I'll be able to handle it; I hate giving speeches, I get so nervous, but it's something I should learn how to do better; calculus is gonna be a bitch; no comment on health class at this point.
On to the next topic, work.
Work has been alright the past couple weeks. I'm really used to the job by now, and worked a lot last weekend. This week, they had me scheduled for barely 9 hours in the whole week. I talked to a manager about it, and she later told me to come in on wednesday, so that added 5 hours to my schedule. Still...14 hours in a week is crap, I want to be earning more money and minimum wage just doesn't cut it.
Work still sucks, next topic.
I've been going out a lot lately. A couple weeks ago we went to the beach, which was pretty good. Saw Resident Evil: Apocalypse last night, that was an awesome movie. You gotta go see it! Sam's birthday was last week, we spent the day watching Nip/Tuck, going to In-n-Out, playing pool, driving around, at the batting cages, at the arcade, and for some unknown reason we took the subway and ate chicken wings at Hooters. Also, we've had poker nights at Jamie's place a couple times in the past week or so. Poker and EZ Cheez, good times. Oh yea, and we discovered this apartment building has a really nice pool and jaccuzzi which is great. Also, I went to Rocky saturday night, haven't been in a little while so it was good to see everybody again.
In other news, my mom's going out of town for the rest of the week so I get the apartment to myself. woooooo.
Also, I still haven't gotten around to putting the pictures here on actual webpages, but I did go through and shrink all of the oversized pictures that were just taking up too much space, so that's a first step.
